My hubby and I have only only played the Long-Term Couples Edition once since receiving them two weeks ago but I was pleasantly surprised that my hubby enjoyed it (I did too)! This is a fun connection game and my first experience with THE AND games. The directions point you to playing this one-on-one with someone, but you can use it in a lot of different ways with a group as well. I have a number of conversation-starter card decks, but this one stands out because the question are creative, challenging and wholesome. You can add a few questions of your own on blank cards. Overall a nice fun game that can help create deeper connections.
Great little conversation starter. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. I thought this little deck of cards would be a fun way for us to spend some time together. Most of the questions are creative and really make you think. My nine year old also asked if he could read and respond to some of the cards too. I especially like that the questions are thought-provoking and not raunchy.
I ordered this thinking it would be a fun way to have open conversations with my kids. We didn’t play it as a formal game, but my son and I ended up sitting down and asking each other the questions. This isn’t really a game, as much as it is a set of cards intended to spark conversation. But for what it is, we really like this set of conversation cards. Some of the prompts are difficult to respond to (memory issues, rough topics), but the rule of looking into the other person’s eyes to pass means we’re still connecting. The cards could also be used in a large group setting - lots of laughter with some of the responses. This is a great activity for increasing a sense of connection. Highly recommend!
