Celebrating International Women's Day

International Women's Day is Tuesday, March 8th. The goal of this global holiday is to celebrate women's achievements, help to raise awareness against bias, and to spark people worldwide to take action for equality.

We encourage you to take time this week to celebrate the women in your life. We hope to provide an opportunity to build deeper connections with them, spark more meaningful conversations, and show them how much they mean to you. Get started with options that include Gratitude, Friendship, and Couples. Paired with any 12 of our {THE AND} card decks, you are sure to have the tools you need to give her an incredible experience that will provide memories for years to come.

More About International Women's Day

"International Women's Day is commemorated in a variety of ways worldwide; it is a public holiday in several countries, and observed socially or locally in others. The UN observes the holiday in connection with a particular issue, campaign, or theme in women's rights. In some parts of the world, IWD still reflects its political origins, being marked by protests and calls for radical change; in other areas, particularly in the West, it is largely sociocultural and centered on a celebration of womanhood."

Breaking The Bias

The theme for this year's International Women's Day is "Break The Bias". Per their website, "Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field."
